What Is a Moneyline (ML) Wager?

  • Updated

A Moneyline (ML) Wager is who will 'win the game.' Odds are associated with each team based on their projected probability of winning, which is reflected in the price of each team.

  • For each game, there will be a favorite and underdog based on who is expected to win. Wagering on the underdog in a moneyline bet will bring more risk and more profit. A wager on the favorite will have a higher chance of winning, however, the price will be more expensive.
